Friend of the Canvas by Canvas artists, 3rd generation native Texan Annette owns a rainbow selection of colorful Justin boots she generously provided to be posed, photographed, and painted for this piece. Presiding over the photographing of her “friends,” Annette offered support and encouragement to the painters, as well as her own artistic eye; naturally, her name must adorn this finished piece. It is with pride that the nine participating painters have named the finished work “Annette’s Circle of Friends”.Painted in acrylics by individual artists on nine 10” x 10” gallery-wrapped canvases, each bears the initials of the painter. The canvases are mounted in a beautiful frame that will endure for generations.

Juror Comments:

Not a totally unique idea, having more than one Artist participate in one piece of Art work, but a great example for sure. All the individual canvases create a cohesive whole but each is unique to the individual creator. The radial design holds it all together.
