Description:

This is the first in a projected series of works featuring corvids. I have a great admiration for crows, ravens and magpies, which are beautiful, bold, and intelligent birds, although some of their behaviours can be reprehensible. The strong graphic quality of their black colouring and crisp outlines make them particularly suitable for interpretation in artwork. As most of my works feature horses and dogs, working with crows is a nice diversion.
