I am posting it to sell partly for benefit Animal Rescue/Katrina to one of the Humane Societies. I am thankful for your great inspiration, and thought to let you know that my entry in the animal art show "Horse In A Brown Study" has been sold at eBay Giving Works to benefit the Humane Society. Nice to do a thing with my art this way, and the deduction and ad for my work seem to come back to me in new commissions and more.

Juror Comments:

This closeup of a horse's huge, soft eye conveys so much about the creature that you feel you could stare into it and begin to communicate. Essential to the success of the drawing is the single strand of mane that bisects the eyeball. The one hair adds a note of shyness and unpredictability that makes the drawing interesting. Elle's soft, delicate rendering style is ideal for this kind of work.
