Ann Pember (continued)

Ann Pember's light filled paintings have been selected for inclusion in more than one hundred and sixty national juried exhibitions, including those of the American Watercolor Society, Rocky Mountain National and Watercolor USA. They have won numerous awards and have been featured in more than twenty books and publications. They are widely exhibited and are represented in many public, corporate, and private collections.

Ann earned a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston in 1968. She continued her studies in watercolor with many respected artists and teachers while working, for twelve years, as a free-lance commercial artist

In 1976 she relocated to the Adirondack region of New York, and in 1980, she began painting more predominantly in watercolor. In 1993, Ann and her husband built their home, and Ann's studio, on the shores of Lake Champlain. Now Ann lives in close proximity to her beloved mountain streams.

The artist is a signature member of American Artists Professional League, Fellow at the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, National Association of Women Artists, Audubon Artists, Knickerbocker Artists, USA, Missouri Watercolor Society, Mississippi Watercolor Society, Montana Watercolor Society, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, Watercolor West and many other regional societies.

Ann has been teaching painting workshops since 1988. She welcomes visits to her studio by appointment.
