Ann Pember (continued)
Ann Pember's light filled paintings have been selected for
inclusion in more than one hundred and sixty national juried exhibitions,
including those of the American Watercolor Society, Rocky Mountain National
and Watercolor USA. They have won numerous awards and have been featured
in more than twenty books and publications. They are widely exhibited and
are represented in many public, corporate, and private collections.
Ann earned a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston in 1968.
She continued her studies in watercolor with many respected artists and teachers
while working, for twelve years, as a free-lance commercial artist
In 1976 she relocated to the Adirondack region of New York, and in 1980,
she began painting more predominantly in watercolor. In 1993, Ann and her
husband built their home, and Ann's studio, on the shores of Lake Champlain.
Now Ann lives in close proximity to her beloved mountain streams.
