Watermedia Collage
Carrie Burns Brown is one of the reasons why collage has
regained popularity in recent years. Her work is nature based, rich in texture and displays
luscious color harmonies. Carrie brings collage to the level of fine art. Carrie delights in
discovering new combinations of materials. If she cannot find what she is looking for, she makes
it herself. Carrie's teaching style is logical, sequential and helps students tap into their
own design sense and creativity.

Texture," and the winter issue of "Watercolor Magic" magazine

painting of Carrie's has been included in Mary Todd Beam's new book, "Celebrate
Your Creative Self."

DVD Workshop Review by Adele Greenfield
“I love options,” says Carrie and that’s exactly what she gives us – loads and loads of options. Making art is about making choices and she offers up a smorgasbord of ideas so you can pick whatever you want to create your personal artistic feast and then go back for more. Plenty more.
“If you want to start collage work,
or if you’re a collage artist looking for another approach, this will
give you ideas for enough projects to last a very long time. Or if you’re
like so many of us and have lots of partially developed art in your studio
and need that extra something to pull a piece together, this is definitely
one video you don’t want to miss.” [See
