Buying vs Renting

Reasons NOT to Rent from Unauthorized rental providers.

When you purchase a Creative Catalyst DVD workshop, part of your purchase price goes to support the artist and production crew that made your DVD workshop possible. Your money also supports future workshops by other talented teachers. By purchasing the DVD, instead of renting, you expand your own access to future excellent art instruction.

Unauthorized online rental companies do not contribute to future workshops. They cut the artist/instructor out of the royalty income stream. Only the rental company gains by your rental purchase.

The only online site authorized to Rent our DVDs is ArtWorkshops.tv.  They pay artist royalties for every purchase.

Of course, we believe you gain more educational value for your money by owning the workshop because you have access to it for a longer period of time. Creative Catalyst workshops are packed with information. You can absorb only a portion by watching once or twice. The best learning strategy is to watch the workshop, try the technique for a week or so, then return to watch the workshop again. You will discover new aspects of the lessons you had overlooked that are suddenly clear and are critical to your success.

Rental companies are unauthorized to carry Creative Catalyst DVDs. The DVDs are licensed for individual use only. Creative Catalyst has specifically asked online rental companies not to violate our copyright by carrying our titles. Again, the only authorized rental company is ArtWorkshops.tv.

Thank you for your respectful consideration,

Jim Powers, President
Creative Catalyst Productions
