Basic Perspective Drawing

Recognizing correct perspective is often the key to successful drawing. Even though perspective rules can be involved and intricate, Gerald Brommer's art instruction video presents, with refreshing simplicity, an easily understood explanation of one- and two-point perspective, with exercises and suggestions for effective practice.

Even though perspective rules can be involved and intricate, Gerald's excellent step-by-step instruction allows you to solve perspective problems, and employ the method of “eyeballing” the lines of a drawing. Gerald takes the time to explain the fundamentals being sure to cover all the applications. He explains a host of terms and suggests many ways to improve your drawing skills. Even with such a potentially dry topic, this video is never boring.

Basic Perspective Drawing, created as a beginning drawing DVD by Crystal Productions, offers great drawing instruction not only for beginners — it's a helpful review for experienced artists.

Basic Perspective Drawing by Gerald Brommer  -  by Kerry from New Jersey

When I took my class drawing fundamentals in college. Perspective stumped me big time because I didn't have a drawing background. But After I found this video Mr. Brommer simplified it to the plainest terms and then I finally got it and I mean "I finally got it".
