I've just finished viewing this DVD and think it's fabulous. I particularly appreciate that Susan gives an introduction to the individual techniques she will be using in the video. It's fun to practice those first, then go for the "big picture"!

This is a very informative watercolor video suitable for anyone that loves to paint with watercolor. The painting subject may seem complicated to the beginner, but after watching Susan skillfully break down the entire process with her in-depth explanations and skillful step-by-step demonstrations, you will not be intimidated!
From beginning to end, Susan holds nothing back. The video includes explanations of the materials and various painting techniques used in the painting, how Susan pre-plans the chosen subject and transfers the drawing to the paper, how to mix and apply the paint as well as showing the very informative and detailed painting demonstration. Before you know it, you’ll be painting along with Susan and your garden painting will magically come alive!
This is a great way to spend an afternoon anytime you feel like having your own personal one-on-one watercolor workshop! Susan Bourdet graciously shares her knowledge and offers many helpful hints so that we can all benefit from her experience. I highly recommend this video for all skill levels. You will not be disappointed!

Susan's teaching style is great - easy to understand and follow. DVD format is great, especially being able to choose segments!! I learned a lot from the DVD because she is able to keep the lesson simple - both verbal and demos are easy to follow.

This video/DVD is excellent! Better than I hoped for. I appreciate her attention to detail and that she isn't in a hurry. Thank you for being willing to share your technics. Your backgrounds, especially, are what I've been looking for!!!They are beautiful!
